Finnair Cancels Guangzhou Route
Finnair has announced it plans to cut its non-stop flight from Helsinki to Guangzhou as of 1 November, local media quotes managers of the company. The route has been in operation for three years and offered four flights a week. Finnair also operates flights to Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
Best Buy To Open More China Stores
After much prevarications, American electronics retailer Best Buy says
it has received approval from the Chinese authorities to open four more
outlets. All four stores will be opened this year, and at least three
of them will be located in Shanghai, where Best Buy already operates
two outlets. The American company is in fierce competition with Chinese
retailers Suning, Gome, and Dazhong, and has struggled to impose itself
on China's increasingly competitive retail landscape.
