It’s a very long way – but the world's first ever bus service from London to Hong Kong may soon be a reality.
London based OzBus, which already run buses from London to Sydney and
New York, this week announced the launch of a proposed service that
will take passengers on a 12-week journey through 19 countries en-route
to Hong Kong.
The inaugural bus to Hong Kong will depart from London's Embankment on
19 August 2009, and will arrive in downtown Hong Kong on 11
October.
The route will include:
England, France, Belgium, Germany,
Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India,
Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong.
OzBus is also planning additional long-haul services between London and
Cape Town, London and Beijing, and London and New York and Rio de
Janeiro.
