Air Asia Opens Guilin - Kuala Lumpur Route
The Malaysia-based low-cost airline has opened its seventh China service destination, with a new route between Guilin, the capital of Guizhou province, and Kuala Lumpur. Four weekly flights depart in either direction. The airline now flies from Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Haikou, Hangzhou and Guilin to the Malaysian capital, and will shortly add a new service from Tianjin.

China Plans First National Park
China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and the National Tourism Administration have approved the establishment of China's first pilot national park. Tangwanghe National Park is located near the Hinggan Mountains, Heilongjiang province, and comprises “primeval forests and geological relics.” The space will be used for tourism and conservation purposes, as well as scientific research, according to the Ministry.
