HK Disneyland Expands
The Hong Kong government and Disney are currently in talks to "significantly expand" the Hong Kong Disneyland Theme Park, news wires report. The two parties are reportedly discussing the possibility of adding three new themed land items for HKD5 bn. The government, which holds 57 per cent in the park, may signal interest in funding some of the expansion to support the slowing economy. The park currently occupies 80 hectares of the 126-hectare site.
