Apple has announced that its
new series of iPods, including the new wifi-functional iPod Touch
product, will be available in China from mid October.
The iPod
Nano, iPod Classic and iPod Shuffle are already available in
Apple-authorised stores nationwide, while the iPod Touch has yet to be
officially launched in China.
The iPod Shuffle will be priced at
RMB728 (1GB). The iPod Nano, with a two-inch LCD screen, will be priced
at RMB1,348 (4GB) and RMB1,798 (8GB). The iPod Classic will cost
RMB2,298 (80GB) and RMB3,198 (160GB).
The iPod Touch, with
features such as a 3.5-inch screen, YouTube access shortcut, wifi and
touch control, will be priced at RMB 2,698 (80GB) and RMB 3,598 (160GB).
