Dachser launches the first of its own-controlled facilities in Shanghai, followed by a second of its WOFE’s which is located in Guangzhou – Dachser Shenzhen.
The company’s original entry into China began in the last Quarter of 2006 with Dachser Shanghai a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise.
Dachser Far East’s new Shanghai warehouse is in Boshan district, 30 minutes from Central Shanghai.
Dachser has its eyes firmly fixed on China, this is evident from the fast growth of the company and its continued expansion across the southern and eastern regions.
Media reports that Thomas Reuter, managing director of Dachser Air & Sea Logistics commented that the company has set aside €1 billion worldwide for its ambitious investment program.
