Shanghai played host to a piece of the Hennessy Artistry global tour at the Pudong Exhibition Center last Friday.  Originating in New York in 2006, Hennessy VSOP has since been hosting a series of parties worldwide featuring top musical artists from around the world. 

In China alone, the Hennessy Artistry music concert tour has swept through more than 10 premier cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dalian, Hangzhou, Tianjian, Taiyuan and Nigbo.

For the Hennessy Artistry Shanghai event, Asian superstar Wang Lee-hom collaborated with American R&B singer Amerie for a duet showcasing the fusion of eastern and western music ideas that Hennessy strived to achieve as an example of Hennessy’s Artistry of mixing. Singer and songwriter Gary Chaw and million-album selling American punk-rock band Bowling for Soup were also present to contribute various fusion elements in their performances. 

For its events Hennessy created signature cocktails to showcase a few selective cities:  Hennessy Shanghai, Hennessy Paris and Hennessy Miami. The nights featured performances and world-city cocktails were to signify the blend that Hennessy Artistry represents.
