Credit Suisse Links With China Founder
Credit Suisse, Switzerland's second-largest bank, has announced a strategic alliance with Shanghai-based China Founder Group for securities underwriting and wealth management. Credit Suisse also intends to apply to form a joint venture with Founder Securities, a division of Founder Group. Morgan Stanley is also rumoured to have tie-up plans with China Founder Securities.

 

Qingdao Signs Up Six Olympic Hotels
Qingdao, the host city of the 2008 Olympic Sailing Regatta, has named six official Olympic hotels: Shangri-La Hotel; Crowne Plaza; Hotel Equatorial; Haiqing Hotel Qingdao; Huanhai Gloria Inn; and Post & Telecom Hotel. The Beijing Organising Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) has named 120 official Olympic hotels in Beijing, and 12 in other areas, six of which are in Qingdao.
