China's state-run national broadcaster, China Central Television, has agreed partnerships with social networking site MySpace China and online-video site Tudou.com to develop an interactive website for the Beijing Olympics, Sport Business magazine reports.
The CCTV Olympic Website will offer streamed video broadcasts from the
Games, which will only be accessible in China, and web profiles for
users to contact Chinese Olympic athletes. The site - the theme of
which will be 'My Olympics' - goes live on 8 August, the day of the
Olympic opening ceremony.
