Indian Airline to Launch San Francisco-Shanghai-Mumbai Service PDF Print E-mail

Jet Airways will launch a daily service from San Francisco to Shanghai and India on 5 May, according to the company's founder and chairman, Naresh Goyal. In doing so, it will become the first Indian airline to fly from San Francisco to Mumbai, and only the second airline worldwide to fly nonstop from San Francisco to Shanghai.

The airline currently flies to 59 destinations across India, as well as New York, Toronto, Brussels, London, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Dhaka, Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat and Doha. It plans to extend its international operations to other cities in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
