First Direct Flights Between China and Mexico
Aero Mexico will start operating the first direct flights between China and Mexico on 29 May. Flights from Shanghai to Mexico City will depart every Thursday and Sunday. Flights from the Mexican capital to Shanghai will depart every Tuesday and Friday. All flights will stop in Tijuana, on the border of Mexico/California border.

 

Rhodia Opens New R&D Centre
French specialty chemical company Rhodia SA plans to open its new R&D facility this summer, CEO Jean-Pierre Clamadieu said at the official construction launch in Minhang, Shanghai. Some 150 scientists will eventually work at the new centre and support Rhodia's goal of doubling its sales in China by 2013.
