Sohu Partners With CCTV for Olympics
Web portal Sohu.com and China's national television network CCTV have signed an agreement for broadcasting the Olympics on the Internet, state media reports. Sohu wis apparently the only online media company to be given official access to "premier Olympic content". Sohu will also direct a media alliance with 15 national newspapers and provide exclusive coverage and reports about the Olympic Games.

 

Did Apple Choose China Unicom for its 3G iPhone?
Rumours abound that China Unicom has signed an agreement with Apple to officially introduce the 3G iPhone to China  in August, several Chinese online media report. The new iPhone has language support for Chinese and Japanese and offers a Chinese handwriting input method. As reported in January, Apple and China Mobile discussed a possible cooperation deal for the introduction of the iPhone in China, but the parties could not agree on revenue
sharing terms.
