It is comforting to know that China has issued a warning to chemical plants prohibiting further production of two illegal drugs.

Anabolic agents and peptide hormones, which are known to have been used by athletes to unfairly increase their performance, are banned by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Authorities have thus ordered chemical plants to halt production and seal up storage in which the drugs are held.

Advertising or selling the drugs online is also prohibited. Furthermore the Ministry of Public Security has warned that it will hand out fines and revoke licenses if companies do not comply.
